Course Summary

Beyond Install-Package with NuGet is a course aimed at running you through NuGet from the basics all the way to creating your own NuGet packages as well as hosting your own NuGet feeds.

We start with using NuGet to install packages, manage versioning and share projects using NuGet libraries.

Anyone managing component libraries in an enterprise environment will easily recognize the need to manage the versions of external component closely. So once the basics are covered the next step is to look at hosting custom NuGet feeds. Custom feeds can be as simple as file system based feeds, or running your own NuGet server.

Lastly you'll learn to build your own NuGet package. You'll test the package using your own custom feed after which you'll be able to consider yourself a NuGet expert.
